With over 3 million followers on her TikTok (@maddiwinter) and 49,000 followers on her Instagram (@maddi_winter), she has stood out in the world of social media, catching people’s attention with her creative content and especially his animated dance videos.
How it all began
Maddi first entered the world of social media 8 years ago, in 2013, when she created her account on Instagram. Gradually gaining recognition for her content, she quickly jumped onto Musical.ly in early 2016, being among the first creators to join the app. She continued to produce content on the now TikTok app, expanding the boundaries of her creativity over the years.
The Beginning of Creative Animation Dance Videos
Maddi had already been actively developing her social media platform for 6 years when she bought Adobe After Effect, for a completely different purpose, and came across the Pain feature. As she explored functionality, she began to challenge her creative limits and ended up creating animated dance videos and posting them on TikTok. The rest is history!

I started making creative animations on TikTok actually by happy mistake
And Maddi seems really happy doing what she does. Social media personalities have often expressed how recognition has had a negative effect on their lives and mental health. However, Maddi’s experience is quite different. In fact, she’s found herself to be more confident, happy, and grateful since she started with social media.
Behind the scenes of a video
Although the videos that arrive on Maddi’s social media accounts are usually no longer than 60 seconds, the process is much longer to say the least. Just by watching his videos, it’s quite obvious that the creative process leading to this final animation is really arduous.

In her early days, Maddi, not thinking so much about design, spent less than 10 hours creating the animations that she eventually posted on TikTok. However, the more experience she gained, the more invested she became in the process of creating the videos. These days, each video usually takes 20-50 hours to edit. As time-consuming and exhausting as it may seem, Maddi says, “Creativity is pretty much the opposite of stress for me; I actually use it as a break/hobby from school or whatever else in life.
What the future holds for Maddi
Without writing anything in stone, in 10 years, Maddi finally sees her dream of setting up her own production company come true.

Maddi Winter’s advice to you
When asked what advice she would like to give her fans, Maddi responded by saying, “I hated my high school life and thought I would never achieve anything, but out of the blue one day I found my creative outlet, everything looked and now I wouldn’t trade my life for anything in the world. You can do it!!”
@maddiwinter THANK YOU FOR 3.1 MILLION (& happy halloweek)!!!! 🎃👻

Maddi Fun Facts
- Most people who follow her on social media would be surprised to know that Maddi is actually quite introverted.
I’m actually one of the biggest introverts I know – half the reason I love doing animation so much is so I can sit in my house with a fluffy blanket and not have to go out and to be social.
- She also LOVES rainbow sprinkles and refuses to eat most desserts without them.
